Since 2006, we’ve regularly held in-person and online events, workshops and seminars for our clients, animal training and behaviour practitioners.  See below for upcoming events. 

Saturday 16th August 2025 – Puppy Taster Class

Early learning matters. What your puppy experiences now can shape how they respond to people, other dogs and the wider world for years to come. This one-hour Puppy Taster Class with Clinical Animal Behaviourist Hanne Grice offers a calm, structured introduction to early training and social development. Held on Saturday 16th August at 9.30am at the scenic Hastoe Village Hall, this session gives you the opportunity to explore how your puppy begins to make sense of their environment and what you can do to support that process.

You’ll experience Hanne’s science-led approach in practice, with practical guidance, expert insight and the chance to ask questions throughout. The session also provides a gentle and safe space for your puppy to encounter new sights, sounds and social interactions, helping build emotional stability and attention from the outset.  Whether you’re seeking support with early challenges or simply want to lay solid foundations, this taster session will help you begin your puppy’s education with confidence and clarity.

You’ll also get handouts and some discounted offers as part of your Taster class.

Sunday 17th August 2025 – Meet the Team and Walk

Join me, Blaze (Chief Canine Consultant), and some of our team and clients for a relaxed stroll around Tring Park. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet others, chat dogs, and enjoy a morning potter in good company.   

There’s no booking required, no payment. Just turn up on Sunday 17th August with your dog (if they’re happy in a social setting with unfamiliar dogs and people), bring water, poop bags, your dog’s favourites rewards, and walk along with us.

Thursday 15th May 2025 – Training & Behaviour Surgery – SOLD OUT

We are holding our annual popular in-person dog and cat training and behaviour surgery on Thursday, 15th May 2025, at Hastoe Village Hall, near the Natural History Museum in Tring, HP23 6LU.  

If you’re stuck in a rut with a particular unwanted behaviour exhibited by your dog or cat, or you want to hone a specific skill such as recall, sign up for our Training & Behaviour Surgery.  The ‘troubleshooting’ slots are 30 minutes.  These slots provide owners with guidance and practical solutions that are easy to implement.  These surgeries started back in 2014 to enable owners with ready access to instant expert and up-to-date advice and support, at an affordable rate to kick-start training and behaviour plans.  Our surgeries are run by award-winning Clinical Animal Behaviourist, certified trainer, and respected educator Hanne Grice.  Slots are priced at £30.
 
A completed pre-assessment form before coming to the surgery will be required and sent out in a confirmation email upon purchase of your training and behaviour slot.  This helps Hanne understand your case and goal[s] for the appointment. These slots are open to clients of Hanne Grice Pet Training & Behaviour and newcomers.
